The M&D Integrated Solutions AI-Enabled Mechanical Servicemember (AIMS) is a humanoid robot capable of performing all the tasks commonly performed by a human Servicemember, providing the answer to the need for humanoid automation, both on the battlefield and in support roles. It represents a critical step in the evolution of robotics in support of warfighting and defense. AIMS combines technologically mature and readily accessible components with innovative, proprietary joint assemblies, making a powerful and highly functional humanoid possible.

Designed with military service as its first mission, AIMS is able to fill the role of a human Servicemember, fully capable of interfacing with military weapons and equipment, while providing the enhanced performance of mechanical and digital precision. As a remote-operated, semi-autonomous, and eventually, fully autonomous robot, AIMS provides immediate value to the military and is poised for ongoing improvement, iteration, and capability growth, aligned with the Transformation in Contact concept.

Its humanoid functionality and control system allows the operator to use their natural body movements to control the robot, significantly reducing the learning time for operation and practically eliminating the lag time and operation delays common in other robots.
